Job summary

Aureus Group seeks dedicated musicians to join our team of teachers in Singapore. We offer roles as Piano, Violin, Vocal, Guitar/Ukulele, Drum, and Music Exploration teachers for students of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, teaching theory and aural skills, gathering teaching materials, motivating progress, and assessing students. Opportunities to collaborate on camps and exam prep are provided.

• Master/Bachelor/Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM) required or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses
• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students entering and preparing pupils for examinations
• Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources for music lessons
• Motivate students and encourage progress in the student’s learning journey
• Assess students' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports for parental feedback
• Accompaniment or ensemble practice and performance
• Working with other colleagues in group activities, such as camps and exam preparation

Hiring Criteria:

• Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM)*G8
• 1-2 years of experience in teaching or related fields preferred
• Bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills
• Job Location will be in Singapore
