Job summary

FairPrice Group is seeking a finance professional to oversee revenue accounting for 29 outlets in Singapore. You will manage billing, reconciliations, and inquiries from operations to ensure accurate financial records.

Join a fast-paced team handling month-end closings, revenue accruals, GL postings, and IT coordination for data integrity across POS, SAP, and settlement channels. A accounting degree with 2–4 years in F&B/retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA Level 2).
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Finance/Accounting, ideally within the F&B, Retail, or Hospitality industries handling multi-outlet retail operations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (or a similar major ERP system) and Point of Sale (POS) environments.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition, double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Proven track record in high-volume multi-channel payment reconciliations (Cash, Credit Cards, NETS, e-wallets).
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, sumifs) for handling daily sales and payment clearing data.
• Ability to investigate transactional variances, trace interface/data transmission gaps, and work with IT to resolve system sync errors.
• Clear, assertive communication skills to follow up on cash shortages, missing DSER reports, and entry errors with outlet supervisors and operations managers.
• Meticulous and meeting strict landlord GTO submission deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day revenue accounting for 29 outlets, including receipt processing, transaction validation, and resolving financial inquiries from operational teams.
• Issue ad-hoc invoices and credit notes promptly upon request.
• Perform daily and monthly multi-system reconciliations to ensure alignment between POS systems and SAP.
• Prepare and post monthly revenue/sales accrual journal entries and post up-to-date GL entries at month‑end.
• Coordinate with IT to track missing interface files and troubleshoot data transfer failures between POS and SAP.
• Reconcile payment collections daily/monthly across channels including Cash, Credit Cards, NETS, e-wallets, etc.
• Calculate Gross Turnover (GTO) and support landlords with timely compliance reports and audits.
• Provide ad-hoc financial tasks as assigned by management.
