Job summary

Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple restaurants in Singapore, developing Restaurant Managers and driving business performance across the region. This hands-on role requires staying closely connected with restaurant teams to ensure high standards, strong guest experiences and robust profitability.

You will lead with a drive for results, coaching managers, optimizing operations and delivering sustainable growth while maintaining food safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple outlets in high-volume hospitality.
• Strong leadership with a track record coaching managers.
• Sound commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leadership style in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing Restaurant Managers across multiple outlets.
• Driving consistent food quality, service and operational standards across your area.
• Reviewing outlet performance and identifying opportunities to grow sales and profitability.
• Managing P&L, COGS, labour and operating costs across multiple restaurants.
• Developing managers and building a strong pipeline of future leaders.
• Ensuring food safety, workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring inventory, wastage and operational controls.
• Supporting recruitment, training and succession planning across your management teams.
• Addressing customer feedback and driving improvements in guest experience.
• Partnering with the wider Restaurant Operations team to deliver business goals and priorities.
