Job summary

GYG Singapore is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple restaurants, develop Restaurant Managers and drive performance across the region.

You will be in the restaurants daily, working closely with teams to keep operations running smoothly, maintain high standards and identify opportunities to improve performance. When things get busy, you will keep everyone focused and moving in the right direction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple outlets in a high-volume hospitality or F&B environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop restaurant managers.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to work independently.
• Comfort with systems and data.
• Hands-on leader who stays calm and decisive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Restaurant Managers across multiple outlets.
• Drive consistent operational, food quality and service standards.
• Review outlet performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
• Manage and review P&L, COGS, labour and operating costs across outlets.
• Coach managers on people development and daily operations.
• Ensure food safety, workplace safety and compliance standards are met.
• Monitor inventory, wastage and operational controls.
• Support recruitment, training and succession planning for the management team.
• Manage customer feedback and drive improvements in guest experience.
• Collaborate with the wider Restaurant Operations team to deliver business priorities.
