Job summary

Allianz Singapore is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage motor insurance claims across Windscreen, Own Damage, Third-Party Property Damage and Bodily Injury, ensuring timely, fair outcomes. You will assess liability, review policy terms, negotiate settlements, maintain reserves and deliver excellent customer service while controlling costs.

Collaboration with workshops, loss adjusters and legal representatives is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Insurance or Claims Management is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP), Personal General Insurance (PGI), and Commercial General Insurance (ComGl) from the Singapore College of Insurance is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in motor claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Windscreen Fast-Track Claims Management: manage windscreen claims with timely registration, coverage verification, approval, and settlement.
• Claims Handling and Resolution: manage a portfolio of motor claims from notification through settlement and closure.
• Liability Assessment: investigate accident circumstances and assess liability.
• Coverage Evaluation: review policy terms to determine coverage applicability.
• Claims Cost Management: maintain reserves and manage costs through negotiation and settlement evaluation.
• Customer Service: provide professional, responsive, empathetic service.
• Claims Negotiations and Settlement: negotiate settlements to achieve fair, timely outcomes.
• Escalation: identify high-exposure or complex claims and escalate appropriately.
• Recovery and Subrogation: identify recovery opportunities to maximise recoveries.
• Compliance and Governance: ensure adherence to MCF and regulations.
