Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• At least 2 years in a research or clinical-lab setting.
• Organised with accurate record-keeping and deadlines.
• Procurement, inventory and general lab operations management.
• Proficient in MS Office; basic data analysis with GraphPad Prism.
• Follows SOPs and works to GCP and data-integrity standards.
• Clear communication with researchers and clinical staff.
• Capable of supervising interns or junior staff.
• Hands-on experience with qPCR/qRT-PCR and nucleic acid extraction.
• Knowledge of safety requirements; CITI training is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating samples/data with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform DNA/RNA extraction using automated platforms; run setup and quality checks.
• Receive, label, process and store samples per protocols.
• Assist with reagent prep and basic cell culture support.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, workflows, logbooks and documentation per GCP.
• Support safety audits and training records; ensure compliance.
• Oversee lab housekeeping, equipment upkeep and maintenance schedules.
• Procure items and reagents for lab operations.
• Provide clinical assistance via clear communication with researchers and labs.
