Job summary

Qualifications

• Molecular biology laboratory experience required.
• Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques and next-generation sequencing principles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform laboratory activities accurately with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine laboratory testing to define quality standards and turnarounds.
• Handle, process, and store clinical samples with accurate labeling and traceability.
• Accurately record laboratory activities in logs and electronic systems.
• Identify deviations, errors or nonconformities and escalate when needed.
• Monitor consumables and reagents, maintain stock levels and re-order as necessary.
• Operate assigned laboratory instruments, perform maintenance, and resolve routine issues.
