Job summary

Singtel is seeking a senior network automation engineer to lead automation and process engineering for the Mobile Data Network. The role covers 4G/5G deployment, patch loading, and coordinating with vendors on software and hardware patches.

You will manage change, security compliance checks, and disaster recovery planning while ensuring high service quality and minimal downtime. A strong background in networking and scripting is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with a major in Computer Science, IP Networking, or Telecommunications/Mobile Communication.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting such as Python, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and process engineering for Mobile Data Network.
• Oversee patch loading, software/hardware upgrades, and configuration changes on core network elements (PCRF/PCF, OCS) for 4G/5G.
• Drive network/service automation including testing and rollout of new mobile products/services for 5G and 4G.
• Provide after-hours support and 24/7 standby for fault handling and service degradation.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery, testing, and timely implementation of software, hardware, and patches.
