Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Network Security professional in Singapore to support daily security operations for the Mobile Network Security system. You will install, configure, and maintain security systems while identifying vulnerabilities and implementing defenses.

The role involves audits, disaster recovery planning, playbook development, and coordination with vendors to resolve issues. The candidate should have an engineering degree with networking/telecom focus, knowledge of cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking or Telecommunications/Mobile Communication.
• Certifications in Automation, Networking (CCNA/CCNP) & Network Security are preferred.
• Basic knowledge in Cybersecurity fundamentals, NIST cybersecurity framework.
• Basic knowledge in Linux Operating System.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of Mobile Network Security system.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
• Stay updated on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security systems.
• Lead network audits to ensure secure operation of systems and networks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet security requirements.
• Conduct regular Network cybersecurity exercises.
• Execute disaster recovery plan to minimize downtime and revenue loss.
• Develop cybersecurity playbooks, business continuity, and Incident Response plans.
• Coordinate Network Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
• Lead and program manage mitigation of VAPT findings.
• Occasionally work outside normal hours for upgrades/patching.
• Engage with vendor support to diagnose technical problems.
• Identify automation use cases in network security.
• System administrator for Mobile Security systems.
• Provisioning/deprovisioning of Mobile network 2FA and PIAM accounts.

• Responsible for supporting the daily operation of Mobile Network Security system.


• Lead to Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems.


• Lead to Identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing security measures


• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security systems


• Lead Networks audits to ensure that systems and networks are operating securely


• Work with all stakeholders to meet operation and cyber security requirements.


• Lead to conduct regular Network cybersecurity exercise.


• Activate and perform disaster recovery plan in times of service disruptions so as to minimize service downtime and revenue loss.


• Lead to develop cybersecurity playbooks, business continuity plan and Incident Response plan.

Skills For Success

• May require to work outside normal working hours
