Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Trade Support/ Middle Office professional to manage end-to-end trade lifecycles across Fixed Income, Equities, and FX. You will handle trade confirmations, settlements, and post-trade processing within strict SLAs, while monitoring for exceptions and discrepancies.

The role requires 1-2 years in middle office or trade settlements, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis. Immediate start or short notice is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Min. degree in Banking, Finance Economics, or related discipline.
• 1-2 years experience in middle office, trade support, or trade settlements within a financial institution.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Available to start immediately or within short notice.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, breaks, and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution.
• Escalate trade-related issues where appropriate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve outstanding items.
• Liaise with Front Office, Operations, Custody, Settlements, Technology, and other counterparties to facilitate smooth trade processing.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports where needed.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel and other operational tools for reporting, reconciliation, analysis, and issue tracking.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation, process improvements, and workflow optimisation.

Requirements

• Min. degree in Banking, Finance Economics, or a related discipline.
• Prior 1-2 years experience in middle office, trade support, or trade settlements roles within a financial institution.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
