Job summary

RMA CONTRACTS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Operations professional to own trade lifecycle activities within Asset Management Operations, supporting trade confirmation and settlement across markets and products.

You will work closely with trading desks, portfolio managers and internal operations teams, driving process enhancements, managing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is a 3-month contract located at Anson Road, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Operations or Middle Office within the Financial Services industry.
• Operational experience with equities, fixed income, futures, IRS.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, confirmation and settlement.
• Experience with Trading Desks, Portfolio Managers, Brokers or Custodians is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong risk awareness and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Traders, Portfolio Managers, and internal Ops teams; external Brokers, Custodians and Vendors.
• Support implementation of new clients, products, strategies and system architecture.
• Ensure activities focus on risk management, accuracy and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and develop a strong understanding of trade lifecycle activities from an Asset Management Operations perspective.
• Support trade confirmation and settlement activities across different markets and products, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and within internal and external cut-off times.
• Provide day-to-day support to trading desks, responding to ad-hoc queries and contributing to ongoing business and operational initiatives.
• Monitor trade flows and existing processes to identify operational risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with management and relevant stakeholders to implement process enhancements and operational improvements.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Traders, Portfolio Managers and internal Operations teams, as well as external Brokers, Custodians and Vendors.
• Support the implementation of new clients, products, strategies and system architecture where required.
• Ensure operational activities are conducted with a strong focus on risk management, accuracy and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Operations or Middle Office within the Financial Services industry.
• Operational experience with one or more of the following products: Equities , Fixed Income, Futures, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, confirmation and settlement processes.
• Experience working with Trading Desks, Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Custodians or other Operations teams is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong risk awareness and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to take ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
