Job summary

Evolution Singapore seeks an MES Engineer to support and enhance MES for high-volume electronics manufacturing, including remote support for overseas factories. You will develop, configure, deploy, and upgrade MES, monitor performance, and integrate with ERP/SCADA while maintaining data security and documentation.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related fields, strong Python skills, and Oracle database experience, with capability to work independently and coordinate cross-functional

Qualifications

• Experience in MES development, deployment, integration and support within manufacturing.
• Strong Python programming skills; Java or C# is an advantage.
• Strong Oracle database knowledge and experience managing databases.
• Good problem-solving, communication and project coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and provide remote support to overseas sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy and upgrade MES solutions to improve manufacturing operations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and resolve root causes to minimise downtime.
• Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, automation equipment and other IT systems.
• Maintain databases and develop production reports and dashboards.
• Manage MES improvement projects with manufacturing, engineering and IT teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, train users and ensure data integrity and security.
