Job summary

ADVANCED SUBSTRATE TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced MES Engineer to design, implement, and optimize MES solutions for high-volume electronics manufacturing in Singapore.

You will support AST’s manufacturing ops and collaborate with Toppan DI to ensure stable MES operations and ongoing platform improvements. The role includes centralized MES support from Singapore to global factories, delivering remote technical assistance and continuous process enhancements across sites lacking local

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, CS, IS, or related field.
• Strong Python expertise; Java or C# a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, and MySQL databases.
• Proven MES development, integration, deployment, and optimization.
• Deep knowledge of MES modules and system integration architectures.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, analytic, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize MES solutions for production processes.
• Improve MES functionality and ensure high availability.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for KPIs.
• Lead MES initiatives end-to-end with stakeholders.
• Provide remote MES support to global sites.
• Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, and automation systems.
• Develop SOPs and technical documentation.
• Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity compliance.
