Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Lead to manage and coordinate EPC project activities in Singapore. Lead multidisciplinary teams, review drawings, and ensure safe, compliant on-site execution aligned with project schedules.

The role requires a strong background in MEP, EPC, and construction environments, with Mandarin-English bilingual capability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP, EPC, or construction projects.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with clients/teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee MEP construction activities for the assigned EPC project and work areas.
• Coordinate multiple MEP disciplines, subcontractors, and site construction teams to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams throughout project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents to ensure proper site execution.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and construction activities in accordance with the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, process, and other specialist systems.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, productivity, and construction progress.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover.
• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and constructability issues in coordination with the relevant project teams.
• Monitor punch-list items, defects, and outstanding works through to completion.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, client representatives, and subcontractors on MEP construction matters.
• Ensure all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP, EPC, or construction projects.
• Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC); possession of CSCPM (Construction Safety Course for Project Managers) or related professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with English-speaking clients/consultants and Mandarin-speaking subcontractors/vendors.
• Proven ability to oversee and coordinate site construction activities and manage day-to-day MEP execution.
• Experience supervising subcontractors, site personnel, and construction activities.
• Able to coordinate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents.
• Good understanding of MEP installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other high-specification EPC projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, schedule-driven EPC construction environment.
