Responsibilities

Mechanical and Electrical Engineer/manager:

Job Description

The MEP Engineer is responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering activities, processes, FS, procurement and construction of projects.

The successful candidate must:

• Responsible in project planning, programming and monitoring process of M&E works and overseeing the project;
• Monitor and report on the progress of work to manager;
• Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time completion.
• Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress;
• Ensure mechanical and electrical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes and in conformance with the Company’s established policies and objectives;
• Carry out inspection of MEP works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works;
• Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services work closely with other departments;
• Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings;
• Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.
• Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.
• Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.
• Ensure quality of MEP workmanship and compliance with safety and environmental requirements
• Carry out all site inspections and ensure all M&E works are in order.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry;
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience in high-end villas;
• Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work;
• Good communication skills with a strong command of English & Mandarin
