Job summary

APAX SOLUTIONS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager in Singapore. The role involves overseeing project operations, developing detailed plans, managing schedules, and tracking progress while mitigating risks.

You will lead cross-functional teams including contractors and stakeholders, mentor junior members, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and communicate progress to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in construction or semiconductor industries.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional project teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and manage detailed project plans.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Report to Senior Management and oversee project operations, including developing and managing project plans, schedules, progress tracking and risk management.
• Manage and oversee the work of cross-functional teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Communicate project progress and updates to Senior Management and clients together with the project team.
• Identify and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
• Assist in tender preparation.
• Provide engineering design and technical advice on relevant Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) where applicable.
• Support the welfare and needs of project team members.

Requirement

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in the construction or semiconductor industry.
• Ability to motive, guide and manage project teams effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and manage detailed project plans.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with clients and team members.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate good resourcefulness.
• Familiar with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and related engineering software.
• Relevant degree or professional certification in project management or engineering
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is an added advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
