Job summary

GOOD JOB CREATIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a site engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of contractor or project execution experience.

You will handle district cooling and chiller systems, support live lab environments, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards. The role emphasizes problem solving, coordination with main contractor, and active involvement in safety, planning, and quality control across project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a contractor or project execution environment.
• Experience with district cooling and chiller systems.
• Experience in mechanical works for Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects within live or operational laboratory environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards is an advantage.
• Completion of the Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective site problem-solving and coordination support to clients and stakeholders.
• Apply sound engineering knowledge and understanding of building services codes and standards.
• Ensure materials and installations comply with quality requirements and ISO quality plans.
• Coordinate, monitor, and control suppliers, equipment deliveries, and subcontractor installation works.
• Prepare and maintain shop drawings and drawing coordination documentation.
• Develop work schedules and participate in client and internal project meetings.
• Support the Project Manager in managing daily site activities, including planning, quality, and safety matters.
• Coordinate closely with the main contractor to minimize rework and ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and control site materials and equipment usage to reduce wastage.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to minimize delivery delays and maintain project progress.
• Inspect installations and materials to identify and rectify non-conformances and prevent defects.
• Explore and implement new technologies and installation methods to improve productivity.
• Track site progress and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
