Job summary

Cylect Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the planning, engineering and execution of HVAC, chilled-water and energy projects.

You will perform calculations for cooling loads, pump flow and head, pipe sizing and system capacity, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure quality, safety and timely delivery. Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project experience.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and chilled-water systems (chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, piping, valves).
• Able to perform engineering calculations independently.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, energy audits, or ESCO projects is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD or similar software is advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, engineering and execution of mechanical, HVAC, chilled-water and energy projects.
• Perform calculations for cooling loads, pump head, pipe sizing and system capacity.
• Carry out energy-related calculations such as energy consumption and system efficiency.
• Review drawings, specifications, equipment data and submissions.
• Conduct site surveys and verify site conditions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure works meet project, quality and safety requirements.
