MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer (Mech, Chiller, simulation, Green Mark) to lead energy-efficient system design and certification readiness in Singapore.

You will conduct site surveys, perform simulations, size equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions for tenders, proposals, and compliance with sustainability standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (preferably sustainability-related).
2 years or above of relevant experience.
Certifications: BCA Energy Auditor, GMAP/GMAAP, SCEM.
Strong ACMV design, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements and constraints.
Develop and optimise system designs, including equipment sizing, selection, and configuration.
Perform simulations to evaluate design options for efficiency, cost, and operational feasibility.
Support Business Development by providing technical solutions for tenders and proposals.
Conduct Green Mark gap analysis and recommend improvements to achieve certification targets.
Prepare and submit applications for approvals, legislations, and grants on behalf of clients.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design intent and project requirements.
Communicate technical solutions clearly to clients, internal teams, and management.
Identify opportunities to improve design processes and best practices.
