Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Diploma‑trained Mechanical Engineer to lead site activities for a client project in Singapore’s Kent Ridge / Marina Bay area. You will oversee technical decisions, schedule tracking, and ensure code compliance for building services.

The role requires 3–5 years in a contractor environment with chiller experience, ISO 9001/14001/45001 awareness, and BCSS certification. You will draft shop drawings, coordinate with trades, and drive process improvements on site.

Qualifications

• Site leadership and coordination for mechanical systems on major projects.
• Drafting and coordination to prevent clashes and rework.
• Knowledge of ISO quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Ability to track vendor delivery timelines and manage inventory.
• Identify installation methods to improve site productivity.

Responsibilities

• Technical & Site Leadership: Serve as client-facing technical lead for site problem-solving, schedule tracking, and building services code compliance.
• Drafting & Coordination: Produce mechanical shop drawings and run spatial coordination with other trades to prevent site clashes and rework.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Enforce ISO quality, environmental, and safety standards through rigorous inspections of supplier materials and subcontractor installations to fix non-conformances.
• Resource & Schedule Control: Track vendor delivery timelines, maintain inventory controls to minimize site material waste, and assist management with master schedule milestones.
• Productivity Improvement: Identify and adopt innovative installation methods and construction technologies to streamline site operations.
