Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD seeks an Engineer, Design to join its Singapore team. The role focuses on chiller and air-con system design, equipment sizing, and configuration optimization to meet performance and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities include site surveys, simulations, tender support, Green Mark gap analysis, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (preferably sustainability-related).
• 2 years or above of relevant experience.
• Good to have certifications: BCA Energy Auditor, GMAP/GMAAP, SCEM.
• Strong ACMV design, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements and constraints.
• Develop and optimise system designs, including equipment sizing, selection, and configuration.
• Perform simulations to evaluate design options for efficiency, cost, and operational feasibility.
• Support Business Development by providing technical solutions for tenders and proposals.
• Conduct Green Mark gap analysis and recommend improvements to achieve certification targets.
• Prepare and submit applications for approvals, legislations, and grants on behalf of clients.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design intent and project requirements.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to clients, internal teams, and management.
• Identify opportunities to improve design processes and best practices.
