Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to lead operations for critical building M&E systems. You will manage engineering projects from design through commissioning, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring uptime of essential facilities.

The successful applicant has a mechanical engineering degree and proven experience across commercial, industrial, or infrastructure settings, with strong knowledge of local regulations, safety and lifecycle

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations, fire safety, and engineering standards.
• Experience managing mechanical engineering projects in commercial, industrial, infrastructure or large facilities.
• Hands-on knowledge of M&E systems, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience supervising contractors, vendors and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals for maintenance and readiness of M&E systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for critical facilities.
• Manage mechanical/building services projects from design to handover.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to meet objectives.

Job Description

• Lead a team of technical professionals responsible for maintenance and operational readiness of M&E systems
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for critical facilities infrastructure
• Manage mechanical and building services projects from conceptual design through commissioning and handover
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation for compliance and quality
• Oversee site activities, monitor project schedules, and manage safety, quality, and cost performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and operational effectiveness

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Strong understanding of Singapore building regulations, fire safety requirements, and engineering standards
