Job summary

MEN'SPOOL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a motivated M&E Coordinator to oversee the execution, procurement, and management of specialized mechanical and electrical fluid/piping systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You will attend site meetings, forecast materials three months in advance, manage subcontractor contracts, monitor progress, apply value engineering, and support sales with technical input to align project execution with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in M&E systems and site procedures.
• Experience with pumps, piping networks, or fluid management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Site Coordination: Attend site meetings and inspections to coordinate daily mechanical, electrical, and piping installations.
• Proactive Procurement: Forecast all project material and equipment needs 3 months in advance to secure long-lead items and eliminate site delays.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure all M&E work complies with statutory regulations, industry standards, and quality frameworks.
• Contract Administration: Manage subcontractor contracts and resolve site disputes to maintain smooth project momentum.
• Progress Reporting: Provide regular material tracking and project updates to management and stakeholders.
• Value Engineering: Apply value engineering principles to optimize system designs, piping layouts, and equipment costs.
• Project Control: Assist project managers in delivering installations within designated timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Internal Collaboration: Support sales and estimation teams with technical input to align project execution with client requirements.

Required Competencies & Certifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in M&E systems and construction site procedures. (Experience with pumps, piping networks, or fluid management systems is a plus).

• Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for project documentation.
