Job summary

LBD Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proficient M&E site engineer to join our team. You will attend site meetings, study drawings, and coordinate M&E works with consultants and sub-contractors to keep projects on track.

You will prepare schedules, resolve on-site issues, and ensure works comply with HDB specifications. The role involves close collaboration with the Project Director/Manager and coordinating with sub-contractors to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in mechanical & electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
• HDB project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings with consultants.
• Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E works with the consultants and sub-contractors.
• Resolve technical or site issues.
• Prepare and submit M&E construction schedule and structural penetration for approval.
• Arrange M&E trade demonstrations for consultant’s approval.
• Arrange the inspection and resolve the site problems.
• Assist Quantity Surveyor to carry out verifications for various claims.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications and drawings.
• Report to Project Director or Project Manager on any technical or site problems relating to M&E works.
• Coordination of sub-contractor's M&E work and ensuring the work is on schedule.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Preferably have HDB project experience.
