Job summary

SEN LIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled M&E coordination professional to oversee on-site M&E works, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on construction sites in Singapore.

You will liaise with consultants and subcontractors, review drawings and shop submissions, and ensure progress, safety, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years M&E coordination experience in building construction.
• Knowledge of ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV.
• Familiar with Singapore local authority requirements.
• Ability to read M&E drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication with consultants and subcontractors.
• Familiar with BIM coordination and clash detection (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E works on site across ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and sanitary systems.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to follow drawings and specifications.
• Review M&E shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Monitor site progress and ensure on-time completion within requirements.
• Coordinate M&E with architectural and structural works to avoid clashes.
• Attend coordination/site meetings and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore authorities' requirements.
• Monitor testing and commissioning and document submissions.
• Identify and resolve technical on-site M&E issues.
• Ensure safety standards and proper work procedures on site.
• Assist Project Manager in planning and coordinating M&E installations.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain site records.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural works to avoid clashes and delays.
• Attend coordination meetings, site meetings, and technical discussions with consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore authorities’ requirements, including BCA and relevant statutory regulations.
• Monitor testing and commissioning of M&E systems and ensure proper documentation submission.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site related to M&E works.
• Ensure safety standards and proper work procedures are followed on site.
• Assist Project Manager in planning and coordinating M&E installation activities.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain proper site records for M&E works.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant M&E coordination experience in building construction projects in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems such as ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and ELV systems.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and submission procedures in Singapore.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants and subcontractors.
• Familiar with BIM coordination and clash detection (preferred).
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (BIM knowledge is an advantage).
