Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in market risk, preferably in commodity trading.
• Knowledge of commodity markets, derivatives, futures, and hedging.
• Strong analytical skills for risk exposure assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to translate market risks into practical business recommendations.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication, commercial awareness, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee market exposure monitoring, risk assessment, reporting, and mitigation across trading activities.
• Develop and enhance market risk frameworks, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to incorporate risk considerations into business decisions.
• Prepare risk reports and provide insights to senior management and relevant governance committees.
• Strengthen risk management systems and ensure alignment with relevant regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in risk management processes, controls, and governance practices.
• Promote a proactive risk culture and provide guidance on market risk matters across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in market risk, preferably within commodity trading or a related industry.
• Good understanding of commodity markets, derivatives, futures, and hedging instruments.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in risk exposure assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ability to translate complex market risks into practical business recommendations.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
