Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in market risk, preferably in commodity trading.
• Knowledge of commodity markets, derivatives, futures, and hedging.
• Strong analytical skills for risk exposure assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to translate market risks into practical business recommendations.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication, commercial awareness, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate market movements, trading positions and hedging strategies to identify risks.
• Oversee market exposure monitoring, risk assessment, reporting and mitigation.
• Develop and enhance market risk frameworks, policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to integrate risk into decisions.
• Prepare risk reports and provide insights to senior management and governance committees.
• Strengthen risk systems and ensure alignment with regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in risk management processes and governance practices.
• Promote a proactive risk culture and guidance on market risk across the organization.
