Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years in ship chandling, marine supply or logistics.
• Experience with marine chemicals or vessel supplies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with vessel schedules and port operations.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries and orders for marine chemicals and related products.
• Prepare quotations based on product specs, availability, pricing and delivery requirements.
• Source marine chemicals from approved suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Coordinate deliveries with vessels, ship agents, port authorities, suppliers and transport providers.
• Monitor vessel schedules and delivery timelines to fulfill orders promptly.
• Prepare purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices and documentation.
• Ensure correct products, quantities and documentation for each delivery.
• Coordinate safe handling, storage and transport of marine chemicals.
• Maintain records of orders, deliveries, costs and inventory levels.
• Monitor stock availability and support inventory-replenishment planning.
• Respond to urgent vessel requirements and operational changes.
• Resolve delivery delays, discrepancies and customer complaints.
