Unknown Maritime Solutions is seeking an IT Engineer for Maritime Remote Support. The role involves hands-on remote troubleshooting, maintaining onboard IT infrastructure, and ensuring reliable vessel connectivity across a global fleet.

The candidate will work with ship crews, captains, and vendors to resolve complex issues, with a focus on Windows environments, AD/Hyper‑V, and cybersecurity. On-call rotations may include after-hours support.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in maritime IT infrastructure or tech support.
• Hands-on onsite infrastructure support preferred over cloud-only.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper‑V, and networking equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide remote L2/L3 support to vessels, captains and crew.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and comms issues remotely.
• Maintain onboard IT infrastructure across the vessel fleet.
• Support vessel networks, servers, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, and storage.
• Perform updates and cybersecurity hardening; backups and DR.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional vessel visits.
