Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant maritime business development experience with proven track record of acquiring high-value contracts across varied product lines.
• Strong leadership, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in ship management industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of conducting competitive product analysis and market research.
• Industry and business acumen with ability to set direction and plan.
• Ability to develop growth strategies and map client needs.

Responsibilities

• Grow business in assigned markets, accounts and leads with focus on year-over-year revenue and market share.
• Localize sales cycle policies and processes for the local business environment.
• Provide input to development of sales strategy and long-term growth plans.
• Drive continuous improvement within the department and cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, tenders and client Requests for Agreements and Registries.
• Maintain relationships with executives and external stakeholders to nurture leads into customers.
