Job summary

UNITED SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Marine Executive to support the Marine Superintendents in daily fleet management. The role focuses on vessel documentation, certification tracking and coordination with Class and Flag State.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in maritime-related discipline is required.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational and document-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide marine and documentation support to the Marine Department and Superintendents.
• Maintain and monitor vessel certificates, statutory documents and marine records.
• Follow up with vessels, Masters and relevant parties on outstanding documents and submissions.
• Coordinate with Class, Flag State, agents and other maritime stakeholders on vessel matters.
• Prepare and maintain marine reports, checklists, forms and correspondence.
• Assist in audits, inspections, surveys and vetting activities.
• Maintain records related to ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and Class/Flag requirements.
• Monitor validity and renewal of vessel certificates and documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and document control for vessel records and correspondence.
• Support in preparing reports and meeting materials for Marine Superintendents.
• Follow up on action items and outstanding matters with vessels and parties.
• Update vessel information in company systems.
• Provide day-to-day support to Marine Superintendents.
