Job summary

NAVAL GROUP FAR EAST PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an on-site technician to maintain and repair automation machinery on vessels, perform diagnostics, install navigational equipment, and update ship management software to ensure reliability and safety.

You will troubleshoot software issues, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with QHSE policies, while working in a shipyard environment and commuting regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics and electrical systems applicable to marine equipment.
• Experience with marine navigational or electronic systems is advantageous.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to both Eastern and Western Regions of Singapore.

• Interpret electronic, PLC ladder, and system diagrams to support maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and company QHSE policies to uphold safety and quality standards
• Interpret electronic, PLC ladder, and system functional diagrams to support maintenance and troubleshooting activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge and skills in Electronics/Electrical
• Experience in marine navigational or electronic systems is advantageous
• Willingness to work on-site and commute to both Eastern and Western Regions of Singapore to support operations
• Willingness to work in a shipyard environment and undergo security checks
