We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our land & marine service team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing warranty service jobs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of land & marine electrical and automation systems on board vessels at shipyards and anchorage. This role does not involve sea voyages—all work is conducted with vessels alongside in Singapore waters.

Conducttroubleshootingof marine electrical systems, control circuits, and automation equipment
Diagnose and rectify faults in power distribution systems, switchboards, and control panels
Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings
Perform diagnostic checks on automated systems and interpretPLC ladder diagrams
Carry out system software checks and updates on ship management systems
Prepare detailed technical service reports documenting findings, repairs, and recommendations
Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and shipyard requirements
Liaise with vessel owners, superintendents, and shipyard personnel
Strictly adhere to safe work procedures and applicable regulations
Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Power Engineeringor equivalent
Minimum2 years of relevant experiencein marine, offshore, or industrial electrical systems
Strong knowledge ofAC and DC marine power systemsand power distribution
Experience withPLC systemsand ability to interpret ladder diagrams
Familiarity with marine classification requirements (ABS, DNV, LR, IMO)
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, cable schedules, and technical manuals
Willingness toboard vesselsat shipyards, ports, or anchorage in Singapore
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and vessel crew
Must hold valid safety certifications for vessel boarding (e.g., Shipyard Safety Instruction Course, Port Facility Security)
