Job summary

Our client, a publicly listed industrial automation group, is seeking a Sales Engineer in Singapore to develop business opportunities and manage customer relationships across semiconductor, manufacturing, robotics and automation sectors.

You will provide technical product solutions, coordinate with overseas HQ and internal teams, and travel islandwide for client visits. The role offers a structured path in a growing market with attractive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related disciplines.
• Prior experience in B2B sales, technical sales, industrial automation or mechanical components will be an advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to travel islandwide for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across various engineering and manufacturing industries.
• Promote and recommend industrial automation products, including linear guideways, ballscrews, servo motors, motion control systems and precision mechanical components.
• Conduct client visits, understand technical requirements, prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries to achieve sales objectives.
• Liaise with overseas headquarters, technical teams and internal departments to coordinate product information, customer requirements and sales support.
