Job summary

ESI an MKS Brand in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support laser drilling applications and drive NPI transfers. You will help optimize processes and ensure robust production readiness.

You will work with design and R&D, develop jig/fixture designs, apply lean methods, and guide production teams to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with laser machining or precision processes.
• Strong knowledge of jig/fixture design, process validation, and lean manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience supporting production teams and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions.

• Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure production schedules and customer ship dates are consistently met.
• Support qualification of OEM End-of-Life parts and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Develop qualification plans, execute testing, and document results.
• Partner with supply chain and quality teams to manage part transitions effectively.
