Collins Aerospace in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and standardize procedures for aerospace manufacturing. You will create JIS, NC programs, and Tool/Gauge Plans using Siemens NX or equivalent CAD/CAM software, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Develop, standardize, and maintain manufacturing procedures and controlled documentation.
Create and update Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC programs, and Tool/Gauge Plans using Siemens NX or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
Ensure manufacturing documentation complies with engineering, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Lead productivity initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
Design, evaluate, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions.
Optimize machining processes, cycle times, setup reduction, machine utilization, and material flow.
Support digital manufacturing and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Conduct feasibility studies on capacity expansion, facility layout, equipment utilization, and automation.
Develop business cases supported by productivity, cost-benefit, and ROI analysis.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and waste elimination initiatives.
Improve OEE, process capability, throughput, and workflow efficiency.
Implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring manufacturing issues.
Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support to production.
Troubleshoot manufacturing, tooling, process, and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, engineering changes, and production ramp-up.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and ensure on-time delivery.
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing stability and product quality.
Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material).
1-5 years of relevant working experience in precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing.
Knowledge of CNC machines (5-axis milling, mill-turn & grinding) and tools, including their designs and uses.
Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 blueprint reading, G-Codes, M-Codes, and CAD/CAM programming.
Knowledge of tooling and fixturing concepts and standards.
Demonstrate high level of attention to details.
Ability to develop and manage a project from concept to implementation.
Ability to be Flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to analyze information and quickly solve problems.
Experience with metrology standards and equipment.
