Job summary

ELECTRO SCIENTIFIC INDUSTRIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support laser drilling applications and lead NPI transfers into production. The role requires hands-on problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and strong process development skills.

You will optimize manufacturing processes, design jigs and fixtures, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer commitments and production schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with laser machining or precision processes.
• Strong knowledge of jig/fixture design, process validation, and lean manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience supporting production teams and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and ensure smooth transfer into production.
• Develop and validate robust manufacturing processes for laser drilling applications.
• Provide technical guidance to production technicians and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Support qualification of OEM End-of-Life (EOL) parts and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
