OpenAI Singapore is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer (Mandarin-speaking) to design, prototype, and scale generative AI applications on the OpenAI API. You will work with startups, act as a technical advisor, and deliver high-fidelity feedback to product teams in a fast-paced environment.

This hybrid role requires hands-on prototyping, strong customer-facing communication, and end-to-end ownership across ideation to production, with relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of software/ML engineering experience.
• Experience delivering prototypes on top of the OpenAI API.
• Fluent Mandarin required for customer interactions.

Aufgaben

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to Mandarin-speaking startup customers.
• Provide proactive guidance to maximize business impact and accelerate development.
• Prototype and experiment with customers to demonstrate practical GenAI use cases.
• Synthesize feedback for Product and Applied Research teams.
• Build relationships within the startup ecosystem and collaborate with Sales on opportunities.
• Own problems end-to-end and manage multiple projects with strong prioritization.
