Job summary

OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Engineer for codex workflows in Singapore. You’ll partner with engineering leaders to design, validate, and scale AI-powered coding solutions, prototyping demos and automations customers adopt.

You will lead workshops, deliver hands-on enablement, and contribute to OpenAI Cookbook with patterns and guides. Mandarin-speaking collaboration and 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Mandarin language ability is required for interactions with Mandarin-speaking customers and vendors.
• 5+ years of technical consulting, post-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing experience.
• Active power user of AI coding tools with customized developer workflows and a viewpoint on productivity improvements.
• Experience delivering large, high-impact workshops or technical trainings to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert on OpenAI Codex for a portfolio of customers.
• Design and implement AI-enhanced development workflows from prototyping to scalable production.
• Build demos, reference implementations, and workflow automations using Codex.
• Lead large-format workshops and hands-on enablement sessions for customer adoption of AI coding tools.
• Contribute technical content to the OpenAI Cookbook with examples and patterns.
