Job summary

OpenAI in Singapore is seeking a Manager to build and lead a high-performing team of Applied AI Engineers serving enterprise customers. You will drive technical success across a broad portfolio, guiding architecture decisions, production deployments, and scalable enablement.

You will coach engineers, engage with executive stakeholders, and develop coverage models to turn field insights into durable product feedback. The role offers hybrid work and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
• Ability to design production-grade AI systems and evaluate architectures.
• Strong collaboration with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Research, Engineering, Security and Legal.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Engineers serving enterprise customers.
• Own quality and impact across design, implementation, production readiness, adoption, and expansion.
• Coach teams through architecture, model selection, evaluations, reliability, latency, safety, and security decisions.
• Establish operating models for prioritizing accounts and engagements by strategic value and complexity.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point during launches and incidents.
• Partner with executives to link implementations to measurable business outcomes.
• Drive progression from experimentation to production systems and broad adoption.
