Job summary

WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. is assisting a global materials engineering leader to recruit a Manager, Process Engineer (Deposition). The role focuses on leading development and scale-up of next-generation packaging technologies using PVD, CVD, and ALD.

You will drive roadmaps for advanced packaging and 3D integration, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to address challenging process problems across the division.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of semiconductor equipment R&D experience.
• 2+ years of people management/team leadership experience.
• Strong background in thin-film technologies.
• Experience in equipment R&D and product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and scale of next-gen advanced packaging tech using PVD/CVD/ALD.
• Drive process/tech roadmap for advanced packaging and 3D integration with customers and teams.
• Manage engineers in hardware characterization and development across complex systems.
• Interact with customers to resolve complex process engineering issues on HVPs.
• Ensure effective product/technology demonstrations.
• Collaborate with executives to ensure strategic execution.
• Lead market share improvement efforts.

As a Manager, Process Engineer (Deposition), you will be responsible for...

• Leading the development and scaling of next-generation advanced packaging technologies, leveraging expertise in thin film deposition processes, including Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), and/or Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), to enable customer roadmaps and address critical technology challenges.
• Driving process and technology roadmap development for advanced packaging, 3D integration, and related semiconductor applications through collaboration with customers, research organizations, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Managing engineers in utilizing techniques to characterize hardware, defining methods and new technologies and applying them to characterize hardware, and/or performing hardware characterization on extremely complex systems across the entire range of products for the division.
• Interacting with key customers to resolve extremely complex process engineering issues and address customers' High Value Projects (HVP) across the entire range of products for the division.
• Ensuring effective product/technology demonstrations.
• Leading collaboration efforts with executive managers and junior managers to ensure strategic execution.
• Leading market share improvement efforts.
