Singapore Institute of Management is seeking an experienced operations professional to oversee programme delivery, coordination with university partners, and governance of student and lecturer schedules. The role emphasizes efficiency, policy compliance, and continuous improvement within a university setting.
The position requires a recognised bachelor’s degree and at least six years in higher education operations or related fields, including two years in supervision.
Programme Operations and Delivery Support: Manage programme delivery activities and administrative processes within assigned areas to ensure timely and effective execution in accordance with course requirements, institutional policies, and regulatory standards.
Academic and Partner Coordination: Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including University Partners, Heads of Programmes/Academics, and other functions, as appropriate, to support operational delivery, resolve issues, and ensure timely communication to staff and students.
Student, Lecturer and Assessment Coordination: Coordinate student communications and engagement activities, and support lecturer sourcing, scheduling, and delivery arrangements in consultation with academic stakeholders. Support the planning and coordination of programme delivery structures and assessment arrangements, where applicable.
Planning, Scheduling and Resource Management: Manage class scheduling, delivery arrangements, and resource allocation within assigned programmes to ensure efficient utilisation and smooth operations.
Financial Monitoring and Marketing Support: Support budget tracking and reporting activities within assigned areas, and work with Student Recruitment to support marketing and enrolment activities for programmes.
Quality Assurance, People Management and Continuous Improvement: Manage team members to ensure effective performance, engagement, and development. Support programme reviews, reporting, and benchmarking activities, and implement process improvements within the team to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
A recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Business, or a related discipline
At least 6 years of relevant experience in higher education or a related sector, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Experience in programme operations, scheduling, or stakeholder coordination
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices in higher education
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to convey information clearly to different stakeholders
Strong organisational and operational management skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with good problem-solving abilities
Ability to apply sound judgement and make decisions within established processes
Ability to interpret information from multiple sources to resolve operational issues
Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across teams
Team player with the ability to lead and guide team members effectively
Resourceful, self-driven, independent and confident
Detail-oriented with ability to manage operational complexity
