Job summary

National Parks Board in Singapore is seeking a Facilities professional to manage maintenance planning, inspections, and asset management for park facilities and infrastructure. You will coordinate across consultants, contractors and authorities to deliver upgrades and ensure compliance with regulations.

In addition, you will champion Smart Facilities Management initiatives, leveraging AI tools and data analytics to improve efficiency and maintenance outcomes while working in a dynamic team

Qualifications

• Engineering or Facilities Management qualification or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiar with Codes of Practice and building regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and organization skills.
• Able to work in a team environment and independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in data analytics tools such as Power BI and AI-driven applications for facilities management.
• Experience in Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM) transformation and implementation.
• PEB Singapore professional qualification preferred (Civil/Structural, Electrical or Mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ad-hoc and cyclical maintenance programmes and inspections.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline consultants, contractors, authorities and stakeholders on upgrades and construction projects including budgeting and scheduling.
• Drive Smart Facilities Management initiatives using AI and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and maintenance outcomes.

Job description

[What the role is]

You will be a member of the Facilities team to manage the ad-hoc and cyclical maintenance programme and formulate the management plans and inspection programme of building and park facilities, infrastructures and other physical assets, including slope stabilisation and coastal erosion protection works within NParks.

[What you will be working on]

Your job involves managing and coordinating with multi-discipline consultants, contractors, various authorities and key stakeholders in the design requirements and implementation of upgrading and construction projects including budgeting and scheduling.

You will also play an active role in driving the adoption of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM) initiatives, leveraging AI tools and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and maintenance outcomes.

[What we are looking for]

• Areas of study in Engineering, Construction/ Building Management, Facilities Management or other equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Conversant with current Codes of Practice, requirements of regulatory authorities and building regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and organization skills
• Able to work in team environment
• Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in data analytic tools such as Power BI and experienced in the use of AI-driven application for facilities management
• Experience in the transformation and implementation of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM) solutions
• Preferably with a professional qualification or its equivalent recognised by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore, or specialising in Civil & Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines.
