Job summary

Far East Hospitality Management (S) Pte Ltd seeks a Manager, Business Development (Hospitality) to identify opportunities, conduct market research and lead deal negotiations. You will coordinate due diligence, prepare pitches, and manage relationships with owners and partners.

The role requires a degree in a related field and at least 5 years of BD experience in real estate, with strong Excel/PowerPoint, analytical mindset, and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify business opportunities and deals.
• Maintain a framework for development process incl. feasibility, site inspections, due diligence, brand specs, approvals.
• Build and maintain relations with owners, partners and industry pros for leads.
• Evaluate deals via market research, financial analyses, modelling, cash-flow/yield projections.
• Prepare and conduct pitches to owners and partners.
• Draft term sheets and negotiate deal terms.
• Review deal structure including due diligence, financing, risk management and regulatory needs.
• Coordinate with internal/external parties to support deals through opening/execution.
• Understand business direction and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessments.
• Prepare and present business proposals to management/board.
• Perform other duties as required.

Manager, Business Development (Hospitality)

Responsibilities

• Source and identify business opportunities and deals.
• Maintain a framework for the development process, including feasibility, site inspections, technical services, due diligence, brand specifications, and internal approvals
• Build and maintain strong relation with owners, business partners and industry professionals for qualified leads and business opportunities generation.
• Evaluate and review business opportunities and deals by conducting market research, financial analyses, financial modelling and feasibility studies entailing cash-flow and yield analyses and projections.
• Prepare and conduct pitch to owners and business partners
• Draft term sheets and conduct and manage the negotiation of the terms of the deals and transactions.
• Review the structure of the deals / transactions, including due diligence, financing, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant internal and external parties on matters relating to new management opportunities and business partnerships and support the deals through to opening or execution.
• Understand business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts.
• Prepare and present business proposals and papers for management and board’s approval.
• Perform any other tasks and duties as required by The Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of business development with a proven track record in the transaction of deals, preferably in the real estate sector
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and project-planning skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• High level of independence and initiative
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and project management skills
