Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a detail‑oriented HR professional to lead HR and administration for the Centre of Excellence for Soldier Performance (CESP), a SAF centre focused on enhancing soldiers’ combat potential.

You will drive strategic HR plans, oversee manpower management, and support DXOs, Regulars, and NSF service journeys, while providing HR admin support across CESP's branches. Applicants with relevant HR background will be considered.

Qualifications

• Education in Human Resource or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in HR is preferred, particularly in manpower policy, HR administration, HR management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for collaborative excellence in a multifaceted, high-impact environment (Applicants with no experience may apply).

What The Role Is

You will spearhead the human resource and administration functions for the Centre of Excellence for Soldier Performance (CESP), an Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) centre that aims to develop and maximise the combat potential of soldiers.

What You Will Be Working On

• Drive the development and implementation of strategic human resource (HR) plans
• Oversee the full spectrum of manpower management
• Manage the professional growth and deployment of Defence Executive Officers (DXOs) and Regulars
• Ensure a meaningful service experience for Full-Time National Servicemen (NSF) throughout their service journey
• Provide HR administration support across the various branches within CESP

Challenge(s)

• Assimilating and understanding the differing roles of the various branches within CESP in order to provide the required administration support with limited resources
• Supporting CESP staff across multiple satellite locations across Singapore
