Singapore Swimming Club is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor (IES) to oversee day-to-day M&E and facilities operations, ensuring systems are safe, reliable, and well-maintained.

You will supervise technicians and contractors, plan tasks and projects, coordinate with internal departments and support events with setup, testing, and standby operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Building Services.
• At least 2 years in similar operational setting.
• Knowledge of air-conditioning, electrical, sound, and plumbing systems.
• Valid plumber license is advantageous.
• Experience in hotel or club industry a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support M&E technicians in daily operations.
• Plan, assign, monitor maintenance tasks and projects.
• Coordinate contractors’ work ensuring safety, quality, and contracts.
• Provide technical oversight for events, including setup and standby operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support operations and events.
• Troubleshoot M&E issues and respond to breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections and prioritise maintenance actions.
• Attend to repair requests and operational complaints promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory of tools and spare parts.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and service.
• Support other operational duties as assigned by the HOD or Management.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Club, ensuring all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, facilities, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. This role supervises technicians and contractors, coordinates maintenance activities, and ensures compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements.

KeyResponsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and support M&E technicians in daily operations, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with established standards.
• Plan, assign, and monitor maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvement projects to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee and coordinate contractors’ work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and support for events, including setup, testing, and standby operations where required.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal departments to support operational needs, events, and facility requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve M&E issues, ensuring prompt response to breakdowns and emergency situations.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying defects and prioritising maintenance actions.
• Ensure all repair requests and operational complaints are attended to promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and logs.
• Ensure adherence to departmental SOPs, Club policies, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. safety, compliance).
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper usage and stock control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, reliability, and service standards.
• Support other operational duties as assigned by the HOD or Management.

Requirements

• Possesses a minimum Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Building Services.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar operational setting.
• Demonstrates knowledge of air-conditioning, electrical systems, sound systems, and plumbing.
• A valid plumber license is highly advantageous.
• Previous experience within the hotel or Club industry would be a plus.
• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
