Currie & Brown Singapore seeks a proactive Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our team. You will deliver cost consultancy services for mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring value, compliance, and client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will prepare cost plans, manage tendering, administer contracts, and monitor costs across multiple sectors. This role requires strong communication and mentoring abilities within a dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in M&E or Building Services related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant M&E quantity surveying experience.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems (e.g., ACMV, electrical, plumbing).
• Proficient with cost management tools such as CostX and CADMeasure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, budget estimates, and feasibility studies for M&E works.
• Manage tendering processes, including documentation, analysis, and procurement strategy.
• Administer contracts, including sub-letting, change control, and interim valuations.
• Monitor project costs, prepare monthly financial reports, and manage final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice, conduct risk assessments, and support value engineering.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training.
• Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagement.
