Job summary

LINK2 MANPOWER PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of Mechanical and Electrical projects in Tampines.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure delivery on schedule, budget, quality and safety. Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in Airside projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering/project experience.
• Experience in Airside project construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution and monitoring of M&E systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections and review technical information.
• Prepare drawings, specifications and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Monitor progress and address delivery-impacting issues.
• Ensure works comply with codes, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support to clients and respond to queries.
• Prepare quotations and project cost estimates.
• Monitor project expenditure and budgets.

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination and execution of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of Mechanical & Electrical systems for engineering projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within required timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and review technical information to identify potential issues, risks and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications and feasibility studies according to project requirements.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address technical or operational issues that may affect project delivery.
• Ensure project works comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and respond to project-related technical queries.
• Prepare quotations and project cost estimates.
• Monitor project budgets and manage project expenditure.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering/project experience.
• Experience in Airside project construction will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Mechanical & Electrical engineering and construction works.
• Able to coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Good technical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
• Able to work in a 5.5-day work-week arrangement.
