Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer (M&E) to support M&E project execution, site coordination and technical matters. The role requires attending the MacPherson and Tuas sites with regular travel and a 5.5-day work week.

You will assist the Site/Project Manager, review drawings, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure works meet approved drawings, safety, and statutory requirements while delivering quality construction solutions.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• BCSS / WSHMCI certification.
• 1–2 years of M&E construction experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and BIM tools.
• Willing to travel between locations and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site / Project Manager in managing M&E project activities and site coordination.
• Monitor project progress and ensure assigned works are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate drawings, material submissions and site technical matters.
• Follow up on M&E installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, RFIs, inspection records and other project-related documents.
• Ensure works comply with workplace safety requirements and project specifications.
• Support the Project Manager with other project-related tasks when required

• $2,500 – $3,000 Basic + Variable Bonus
• 5.5-day work week, Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm & Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
• MacPherson Office & Tuas Site - Must be comfortable travelling to the Tuas site on a weekly basis

What We’re Looking For

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and BIM tools
• Comfortable liaising with contractors, site workers and utility agencies
• Must be comfortable working on-site and travelling between locations
