Job summary

The Esplanade Co Ltd is seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to support CAPEX, A&A and building services projects. You will work with engineers, contractors and stakeholders from planning to site execution, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

You'll gain hands-on experience across M&E systems, building services and engineering project management within a large-scale operational environment. Strong coordination and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Around 2-3 years of relevant experience in M&E, building services, facilities engineering, CAPEX or A&A projects.
• Experience within commercial buildings, hotels or similar large facilities would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electrical/lighting, plumbing & sanitary and fire alarm systems.
• Experience coordinating contractors and project/site activities.
• Good communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
• AutoCAD or BIM knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, building services, CAPEX and A&A projects from planning through completion.
• Track project schedules, costs, site progress and key deliverables.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise contractors and conduct regular site inspections to ensure works meet safety, quality and project requirements.
• Assist with project specifications, quotations and Invitation to Quote (ITQ) documentation.
• Conduct site show-rounds and coordinate contractor requirements.
• Support project cost estimation, forecasting and expenditure tracking.
• Prepare project updates, presentations and monthly progress reports.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and assist with mandatory submissions where required.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, filing and records for audit and reference purposes.
• Work closely with Engineers and Building Services teams to minimise disruption to day-to-day operations.
